My Approach

To me, the best thing about a wedding is that it’s a celebration of a unique couple. I believe your wedding should be a personalized reflection of your relationship, your vibe, and the life you’re building together, and I love working with clients to develop custom designs and ideas to achieve this.

My Style

I’m known for a mostly clean aesthetic, with a special focus on personal details, hand crafted touches, unique formats, and intentional materials. Take a look at some of my work to get a feel.

WE’LL BE A GREAT FIT TO WORK TOGETHER IF:

  • You care about the details. You know they’re what will bring your vibe to life in a special way, and are ready to invest in bespoke, keepsake-quality pieces.

  • You don’t do cookie cutter. You want your day to be unique, and the same templates and designs being used by the masses aren’t going to cut it.

  • You’re doing things your own way. You don’t blindly follow trends or traditions, and are planning a celebration that’s truly authentic to you and your partner.

  • You’re open to collaborating with a professional who will guide you through the process, propose unique ideas, and ultimately develop one-of-a-kind pieces perfectly suited for you.

  • You love the idea of partnering with someone who will provide thoughtful, passionate, caring, and organized one-on-one service.

How much does it cost to work with you?

Because my work is so customized for each couple, I don’t have standard or packaged prices. The cost can vary greatly depending on factors like quantity, materials, printing techniques, and assembly time, so my pricing is always tailored to each client’s unique needs and vision.

However, here’s a general reference point: for 100 fully finished, digitally printed, three-piece invitation suites, the investment will start at about $2,000. Again, every project is unique so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re curious about working together!

Why are your prices so much higher than places like minted, zola, and paper source?

First, I love what these brands offer. I think they have tons of really beautiful, quality designs, and are a perfect solution for those who’d rather not invest in custom. (And I especially appreciate Minted sourcing from and highlighting independent artists!) That said, the answer boils down to these areas:

Custom vs. template: When you work with me, you’re partnering one-on-one with a strategic, professional designer who will develop entirely unique pieces for you. Not only is this a more premium service, but it takes hours and hours of time for me to brainstorm, design, revise, source, print, and assemble everything for your goods. By contrast, places like Minted sell the same templates over and over, continuing to make money on design work that’s already been done.

Printing and materials: Paper, printing, envelopes, wax, postage…all the physical things that go into wedding stationery add up to be quite a bit of money. I’m a small operation, and I source from and work with various vendors (at full price) from project to project based on needs. On the other hand, the online services are large scale businesses. They have printers in house and/or substantial high-volume discounts with materials and printing partners, making their costs much lower.

How will I receive the finished products from you?

Anything I create for you will be delivered in its final, ready-for-the-spotlight state. When it comes to invitation suites, I’ll handle all the assembly, stuffing and sealing (no envelope licking needed from you), and will even drop them in the mail for you. Of course, if you’d rather DIY any part of the process, that’s cool too, and I’ll make sure you have everything you need.

can you do all the fun printing and finishing like letterpress, gold foil, wax seals, Vellum, acrylic, etc.?

Absolutely! It’s just as fun for me to create with these materials as it is for you to get them. I have vendors to source from and work with on all of these.

I saw a design I love, and I pretty much just want you to recreate it for me. Can you do that?

Nope, sorry. While I certainly love to see inspiration and gathering it is a part of my process, copying someone else’s work is both immoral and illegal. I respect and support other designers, artists, and creators. This means I won’t infringe on others’ intellectual property, and I always pay for proper licensing of fonts, illustrations, and artwork when a project needs it.
